Pacific Inter-Link (PIL) was incorporated in 1988 in Kuala Lumpur to promote the export of various commodities and services from Malaysia and the Far East to the Global Markets. Taking advantage of the growth opportunities in the Asian markets, PIL rapidly grew to become one of the leading MME ( Manufacturer – Marketer – Exporter ) organisation in Malaysia. Over the years PIL has systematically invested to transform its Palm products business into a well-integrated operations with own storage, refining, manufacturing and terminal facilities.
PIL operations in the South East Asia are well spread across Malaysia and Indonesia. The downstream business from the Palm refining has taken shape in the form of the largest production line of soaps in this part of the world in Oleochem & Soap Industries, Medan. The completely integrated state-of-the-art palm oil refining and packaging facility in Medan can easily be one of the largest such units in this part of the world. Aside that PIL has its own manufacturing / packing facilities in Jakarta for the dairy, beverage and textile businesses. Today PIL alone employs more than 4000 employees across this region. PIL also works with well-reputed third-party manufacturers for sourcing its products across various locations around the globe.
Being an export-focused organsiation, PIL exports its products in more than 70 countries across the world. Today, PIL enjoys significant presence in South East Asia, Middle East, Bosphorus, Africa and other countries. In order to establish its branded products business, PIL has identified the huge opportunities in Africa and established a strong foothold across the continent. Since our inception in Malaysia in1988 with a small office of 10 people, PIL has grown to become a highly professional, dynamic and diversified organization employing around 3500 people with interest in Manufacturing, Trading, Marketing of Consumer Products & Logistics Services in Malaysia and Indonesia. The sound business principles we emphasize on and the management values we uphold are parallel to that of our parent group, the Hayel Saeed Anam Group of Companies.
