Since our inception in Malaysia in 1988 with a small office of 10 people, PIL has grown to become a highly professional, dynamic and diversified organization employing around 2500 people with interest in manufacturing, trading, tank terminals, marketing of consumer products & shipping services in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The sound business principles we emphasize on and the management values we uphold are parallel to that of our parent group, the Hayel Saeed Anam Group of companies. We practice and advocate a profound corporate philosophy that is focused on creating a truly dynamic global enterprise based on reputation, integrity and mutual prosperity.

In less than two decades, this policy has propelled the organization into a highly respected company by our stakeholders including suppliers, customers and our employees. SALAH AHMED HAYEL SAEED

Managing Director (Indonesia)

SALAH AHMED HAYEL SAEED

Mr Salah Ahmed Hayel Saeed heads the Indonesian operations of the PIL group. He is engineer by profession with master degree in Engineering Management from George Washington university, USA. He started his career in Yemen in January 1994 and relocated to Indonesian in Oct 2000 to help set up the business operation in this region. At present he is the Managing Director for Indonesian operation comprising of 8 manufacturing companies and 1 trading entity. The Indonesian operation is the key supply chain hub for PIL group bulk and edible consumer oil business.

SRIRAM IYER

GM / Chief Operating Officer

SRIRAM IYER

Mr Sriram Iyer joined PIL in October 2019. He is responsible for business operations, support functions and certain lines of business. Sriram has 20 years of experience in internal audits, risk management, ERM, compliance and controllership. Varied industry experience involving manufacturing, technology, trading & retail, oil, metals and FMCG. Before PIL, Sriram was Director, Internal Audit with VMware Inc in Singapore and have worked with NCR Corporation, Ernst & Young and KPMG.

NAKUL RASTOGI

Senior Director, Bulk Trading

NAKUL RASTOGI

Mr Nakul Rastogi has been working with PIL group for more than 20 years heading its Palm Oil department. He has been involved with Edible oil trade for last 36 years and has varied experience in trading Soyoil, Mustard/rapeseed oil, Sunflower and Palm oil. He also has experience in managing Solvent extraction plants, expanders, refineries and mills in Edible Oil sector. He is a renowned industry expert and has presented papers in major oil conferences. He is a panel Arbitrator in Palm Oil Refiners Association of Malaysia.

MILIND JADHAV

Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer

Mr Milind Jadhav has been working with PIL Group for past 18 years. Currently, he is CFO for the Region & Director. His career spans over 40 years in Finance, Controllership, ERP, General Management, Project Management. He is exposed to various industries like Trading, Shipping, Engineering, Textiles, & ERP solutions.

Vice President, Human Resources

Mr Sreenivasa, prior to joining PIL Group served CMA CGM Shared Service Centre (India) Pvt Ltd as Senior Director of Human Resources. Bringing with him 24 years’ experience in managing Human Resources transformation. He held numerous senior management position in various industries such as Manufacturing, Financial Services, Information Technology and Palm Oil Trading.

Vice President, Packed Oil

WASSIM BEN AHMED

Mr Wassim Ahmed joined PIL in 2015 with qualified business professional of 15 years of distinguished performance in oil & fats looking for export sales and Product Development for retail and industrial products. Start building a strong sales team with ability to attract and secure key players and lasting business relationship, putting clear strategy and development of our packed oil & fats products to much customer requirement in terms of quality and price. He put clear sales perspective by expanding and diversifying our business geographically.

PIL employees were always considered a family within a family business, however, we lacked a formal program that would act as a platform to engage, educate, and accentuate their involvement in the overall organizational improvement.

PIL has the most diverse workforce with different nationalities, language and cultural background. Through an employee engagement platform we wanted to harness this diversity in a meaningful way and also make PIL a fun work place. This was the purpose of ‘We’ initiative which was conceived, planned and executed by PIL employees to facilitate and enhance the work environment by the exchange of ideas, values, information and expressions.

The yoga sessions are held for all employees, with the maintenance of the MCO SOP regulations under a yoga instructor
